What this site collects
Almost nothing, by design.
- No accounts, no forms. This site has nothing to sign up for and nothing to submit. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information through this site.
- No cookies, no cross-site tracking. We do not set cookies and we do not track you across other websites. We count page views with our own analytics, hosted by us at analytics.ionalpha.io. It records the page path, the referring site, your browser language and window width, and nothing that identifies you. There is no cookie, no device fingerprint, and no profile. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, it records nothing at all.
- The verifier runs in your browser. The “verify a record” demo on the home page runs entirely client-side. Any record you verify, including one you load yourself, stays on your machine. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- Ordinary server logs. Like nearly every website, the infrastructure serving these pages may keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested page, time) for security and operations. They are not used to identify or profile you.
Your rights
If you believe we hold personal information about you, email us and we will tell you what we have, correct it, or delete it. Given what this site collects, the honest answer will usually be that we have nothing.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
